What are the worst names you'v had suggested to you?

I'm not pregnant, but DH and I have been talking about children more recently. DH asked if they could suggest a boy's name, and I said sure.

PARSONS. The name was fucking PARSONS.

It's not even a family surname. I despair! Why? I thought we would have similar taste or at least DH would have SOME taste

What are the worst names your DH/DP/other family members or friends have suggested to you?

LeBron, LaSquisha, Adolf.

DH suggested Maverick when I was pregnant with the second.
I said there may be two in there and we'll call the other one Goose.

My GF apparently suggested Blodwyn for me, dodged a bullet there!

When my husband had his first daughter with his ex wife (38 years ago to be precise), he wanted to call her 'Whanita'. (not sure on correct spelling).

It's Juanita (Had a great aunt with that name.)

Dp really wanted aurora. Not his worse suggestion but didn't want dd named after a Disney Princess.

Thankfully was a girl so I didn’t have to argue that, I didn’t push for Onlyfoolsnmothers-junior

Dsil to this day hasn’t met my dd. Spoke to her once when pregnant when she said I should call the baby Sue Ling or Su-Ling.
We are white British but she didn’t see how it would be an unusual choice for us.

My idiot ex wanted to call hypothetical twin girls Ebony and Ivory or Ocean and River. I wish I was fucking kidding, but he's an absolute dick.

When SIL was pregnant, our MIL suggested BIL’s ex girlfriend’s name.

Apparently she completely forgot where she had heard this “really unusual” —madeup— name

I quite like Kim (Kimberley) and Aurora.

Ex-DP wanted to name DS Sizzla (after the reggae artist. Gulp.

Ds wanted to call his db Bob after his friend's ddog!!

My son is called Bob, short for Robert. I love the name and it suits him. There are a few Bobs in DS class/school.

Ex dp wanted to call ds Cody or Kai. For balance I wanted to call him Edward...

Dh’s choice of names has ensured we won’t be having any more children

Nowt wrong with the name but telling a dc his namesake is a spaniel ain't a good look imo!!

My mother kept suggested the middle name she gave me. It also happens to be my SIL's first name. She also suggested the middle name she would have given me if I was male (a story and name I heard what felt like hundreds of times as a child).

Those were the only two names she suggested and at times she was very adamant and dismissive of anything else. They're pretty nice, normal names which is why I'm not listing them - the names aren't the worst - but they were pretty much the worst names that could have been suggested to me. I struggle to figure out what she was thinking.
