With a surname beginning with H (three syllables)?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I don't see why not.
I loved his name but DH said no Sad

Sounds lovely. A bit like a children’s book character.

Harriet was on my list of names but we have a surname beginning with T and it didn’t scan well

I'm not keen on Harriet, personally, though it's fine. I find it drab. Hattie works better than Hettie, which I'd say is short for Henrietta.

starkid · 28/12/2018 12:38

I like it :)

Schmoobarb · 28/12/2018 12:39

My gran was Harriet shortened to Hetty. She was a witch though so put me off the name!

Schmoobarb · 28/12/2018 12:39

Oh and her surname was H (after marriage) but only one syllable

OneKeyAtATime · 28/12/2018 12:41

Yes!

ZebraKid71 · 28/12/2018 13:19

I love it!! It's on my list for Dd2 but it has become quite popular in my area recently which puts me off. I don't like hattie, I'd go either Ettie or Harry.

Smile19 · 28/12/2018 13:27

You can also have Hallie (old English shortening).

I like Hatty. Harriet Harperson is fine.
