We've discovered we are having a baby girl and so now can properly start to think about names, yey!

I love:

Romily
Adaline

Like:

Clara
Ottilie
Mila

DH is not sure but does like Rory as a nn - but not Aurora (honestly - nightmare 😂).

I read somewhere that Rory can be used as a nn for Romily? What do you think?

I already have a Matilda.

What else might I like? I want something super beautiful, not too common and like shortenings that are like boys names etc.

I don’t think Laurie would be a nickname for Lorelei, would it?

MadeInCornwallx3 · 24/12/2018 11:34

Well spelled Lori I guess it would.

Ok Ok! I get that Rory isn't short for Romilly 🙈

I'm looking for names with options. Was thinking out loud.

Also, thank you for all your lovely suggestions - have added at least one name to the maybe list Smile

I have a fair amount of time to go so I'm going to keep thinking, adding and working on DH haha x

Romilly is lovely. No reason why you can’t use Rory for a nn if you want.

Matilda and Romilly together is fantastic.

Thank you @TatianaLarina - I think they go beautifully! Now just to work on the DH Wink
