Baby boy due in 2 weeks and I really like both names! What do people think? I'm hoping once I see him I will know what name he suits 😀

I like both on them. I was going to use Theo, well Theodore as I don’t like shortened names but it was too popular for me. They are both very popular and as one of 3 kids with the same name in my primary school class I wanted to avoid that.

lebkuchenlover · 20/11/2018 08:06

I also find both way too popular.

LauraK85 · 20/11/2018 09:20

Yeah I know they are both popular! They seem to be the only two names me and my partner have agreed on. I'm thinking Theo may be less popular than Harry.

Harry. Theo is very trendy, I know lots of Theos born this year.

SallyWD · 20/11/2018 09:45

Both are nice

Peachbubble · 20/11/2018 10:46

I vote for Harry

Flamingosnbears · 20/11/2018 11:21

Harry or Harrison or how about Harold?...

lebkuchenlover · 20/11/2018 11:26

I know way more Harrys than Theos, but both are overused imo. They'll soon start to sound dated imo.

Ariel88 · 20/11/2018 12:10

Harry

daisypond · 20/11/2018 12:15

Theo. I think it's better as a stand-alone name than Harry.

ColdCrumpetsAndButter · 20/11/2018 12:21

Theo as long as it's pronounced Th-eo and not F-eo which irritates me no end.

TheGrassIsGreener3 · 20/11/2018 14:32

Theo but it would have to be Theodore for me.

Harry is so dull and wet.

dontforgettofloss · 20/11/2018 17:34

Definitely Theo.

Shadow1234 · 20/11/2018 17:35

prefer Harry, but it is very popular.

LegoPiecesEverywhere · 01/12/2018 07:31

I like Harry but I know quite a few

Winterwonderland12 · 01/12/2018 16:24

Both overused and likely to date.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 01/12/2018 16:25

Harry

chumbal · 01/12/2018 16:28

Harry is VERY popular here in SE.

Panicmode1 · 01/12/2018 16:32

As long as you don't mind that if you choose Theo, that there's a chance he may get called Teddy (given your surname), then that would be my pick. I may be biased, but my Theo is almost 15, so we were a bit ahead of the curve! (if I'm being honest, I'm a bit sad how popular it has become - we were often told "what an unusual name". Now I can't help tripping over them Wink)

Panicmode1 · 01/12/2018 16:34

And ours is christened Theodore, as I preferred that as it gave him a choice of what he wanted to be called.

MeganJ93 · 02/12/2018 15:18

Theo if you're using it as a nickname for Theodore. If not then my choice is Harry.

Stargazer124 · 03/12/2018 15:46

Both very popular. They feel like the Steve and Mikes of the 1970s.
