And whereabouts in the country are you and how old are they? Just trying to get a gist of how popular it is

1 aged 10 NE Scotland, ds aged 8 was going to be Ruby if he was a girl.

North east - 7

I have a Ruby, she's the only one of 60 children in her year group. I also have a great nan Ruby. It's incredibly popular, I hear it a lot but my daughter likes it.

She was also born on an Tuesday. I had no knowledge of the song Ruby Tuesday until my FIL had it tattooed on his back when she was born 🤷‍♀️🤢.

I know 1 aged 50 something, I age 14, 2 in junior school aged 7 or 8 and 3 in pre school.

West Mids. I know 3 Rubies; a 10 year old, a 12 year old and a 21 year old

SW England. 4 under 5, 1 over 80.

3 in DD class alone and many more besides!

Meant to add they’re 8-9 (yr 4). There are others who are younger and a number in yr 5&6. I also know a few in the secondary school. The oldest Ruby I know is in her 70s.

One, an acquaintance's daughter who is in her early teens. I'm in Ireland. I love the name.

My car. I always get red cars and call them Ruby. My current one is Ruby the Third.

Live in South East - know one sixth former called Ruby. Also have a friend with a 19 year old Ruby but they live in the NW.

One in their 20s, two in their 30s. I'm in London. No younger ones. Nice name.

I know two - one in her early teens, one in her early eighties. Both home counties.

My kids go to a large primary school in the South West and I can only think of one Ruby at school, aged 9. And we know one out of school too, aged 11. Lovely name!
