What are the ages of the oldest people you know with a current (ONS 2017 England & Wales) top ten name?

I have a top ten name and don't know of anyone else older than me with it (although fully aware there are plenty around) so find this sort of information interesting. Particularly interested in the girls name list as I'm under the impression these change a little more than the boys list.

Top 10 girls names 2017:
Olivia
Amelia
Isla
Ava
Emily
Isabella
Mia
Poppy
Ella
Lily

So many of all 20 of these names are what I would consider 'old men' names. So mostly now, people that have passed away - my Grandparents and Great Uncles and Aunts, who would all have been between 90 and 120 if they were alive. I can think of lots of folks I did know with most of the names - except Mia and Poppy

AlecOrAlonzo · 18/11/2018 17:21

Olivia de Havilland is 102, her actual birth name Olivia Mary de Havilland born 1916. Not that I know her, but whilst the name is overly popular now, I bet it was quite unique when she was growing up.

DRE56322 · 18/11/2018 21:53

I know a 93 year-old Lily, an 8 year-old Ava, an 18-year old Emily (and a couple who are between 6-10 too), a teenage Poppy (she's around 16-19ish), and a 1 year old Amelia. I don't know any others.

I do recall going to art school in the 80s and the name Emily seemed so old fashioned. The woman herself was curly hair and very artistic, dungarees and doc martens and flowery shirts. Totally middle class and entitled which ruined it and never deigned to talk to me.
