First name is set and will not change. The name is: Matilda.
Was going to use Rose as a middle name but very overused and some negative associations.
Have always loved the name Darcey/Darcie but unsure how to spell.

So which spelling would you choose and why?

Matilda Darcie
Matilda Darcey

Many thanks :-)

My younger sister is named Darcie, so that's the spelling that looks right to me. Darcy/Darcey/D'arcy all look strange and 'wrong' and even a bit 'cutesy' though they're certainly not.

I guess it all depends on what a person is used to, I suppose.

Don't like Darcy at all, whichever way you spell it, apart from Mr. Darcy.

daisypond · 17/11/2018 15:32

I'm not keen on Darcey or Darcie at all. Darcey is better than Darcie, though - you can say it's after the ballerina.

Marmite27 · 17/11/2018 15:35

I’ve got a Matilda and she’s Matilda Margaret Ann

If you are set on it, then I'd spell it Darcy.

Matilda Wren is nice
Matilda Rose is lovely though.
Matilda Jane
Matilda Kaye
Matilda Grace

Matilda Elizabeth
Matilda Jane
Matilda Louise

Not keen on the Darcey/Darcy

Or just do no middle name as Matilda is beautiful enough Smile

Rose is a much nicer middle name, it flows beautifully. Matilda Darcy sounds a bit clunky.

I would also spell it Darcy
