Name suggestions to go with Cox

Seriously this classic English surname is a nightmare, every name I think of sounds like a playground bully’s dream! As in;
Alex (I licks), Hugo, Max, Isla (I love), any girls name ending in ‘belle’.

I like shortish, modernish names, cool for boys and pretty for girls, not too out there, avoiding top 10 if possible. Any suggestions?

Good grief, not Chester (chest of cox) - and definitely not Shawn! Shawn (as is shorn) cox?!

Suki?

I once knew someone legitimately called jack Hiscock , nothing you've suggested is worse than that!

Loads of names go with Cox. And frankly regardless of the first name, people will be idiots about it (I know very well). But it’s a good surname. Short and snappy. Longer names tend to work better I.e. 2/3 syllables. Personally I would avoid names ending in x because they sound a bit clunky with the double x ending.

Manon?

Honestly, I grew up with very, very similar surname and didn't take a great deal of stick about it at school so don't overthink.it too much.

Just don't go with William or Richard if you have a boy!

I was at school with a girl who's surname was sachs-cox.

Isabelle Cox sounds relatively sane by comparison.

Careful with the initials - BJ Cox would be unfortunate.

I know an Emily and Zoe Cox, both seem ok to me.
