Ivor.

IMO, it is brill. But can't use as it sounds like DD1's name.

What names give you the same feel/sound/vibe? Wracking my brains trying to find something I love like I love this!

Ivo? It was my great grandpa's name and I love it, but as it didn't really work with our surname we used his middle name instead... Similar name, but different sound?

I have this exact same problem! Ivor is my absolute favourite name for a boy, I’ve loved it for ages!

Recently had a girl and after we’d named her and I was then imagining us having an Ivor next I realised that the names sound the same!

I definitely wouldn’t have named our DD this if I’d realised before because, even though I really like her name, I don’t love it.

The only other name I love, though not quite as much as Ivor, is Frank.

Depends which part of the name is problematic. If the end bit is ok, there's a lovely little town in Portugal called Alvor... That could work?

I think Rowan suggested above is another good alternative.
