I desperately need help narrowing down my shortlist, DC1 is due in 2 weeks and I'm struggling to narrow it down so any opinions would be massively helpful!!

Iris and Martha are both lovely.

I don't like the others.

I like Roman. Is Hettie short for anything?

I love Eleska.. It's similar my daughters name though so I'm biased!

Hux ?????

General Hux is the name of a baddie in the latest batch of Star Wars film. He's a repellent character not even a 'cool' baddie. So please not Hux, a lot of little kids will know who he is.

Eleska would just set the poor girl up for years of 'would she like a cup of tea? I don't know, Eleska', etc. Fine for a huskie maybe but not a human child.

When I was pregnant, I wanted Roman James for a boy so love that still. But my daughters school is over-run with Martha's. I named my daughter Ruby, so with Martha's, Betty's, Elsie's and Nancy's, the classroom sounds like an old people's home 😂
