What do you think of Linus for a boy?

Love it

It's a great name.

I love it - though wouldn't be brave enough to use it?!

And I don't see it as a 'strong' name, kind of 'wet' sounding!?

Still love it though!!!!

I like it, but the Peanuts character makes it maybe a bit difficult for an adult.

I love it! It was my first choice for DS but DH vetoed it. He said the Peanuts connection was too much for him (and he thought for everyone else). I grew up on Snoopy too, but it never bothered me. I actually liked it more for the Biblical character. (A contemporary of Paul who remained faithful to the faith, and to Paul even when he was imprisoned, when many others had deserted.)

It’s the only name we didn’t use that I still think would suit the child now. I love my DC’s names and when I see my girls now I can’t imagine them as anything else. With DS though - he totally suits his name and it is “him” but the one name we didn’t use that I still think would suit him equally is Linus.

(Having said that - it means flaxen/golden haired and as my DS is as dark as can be it might not have been the best choice in terms of meaning!)
