Name for 4th Son

Hi everyone.

I just found out I'm going to have another boy. I have 3 sons already, each has 2 names, so probably it's best if this one also does. I can think of lots of names that are OK, but none that I really love.

It's further complicated by the fact that I'm Scottish and would quite like to choose a Scottish 1st name, but we live in a Slavic country so I have to take spelling/pronounciation/translation in local language into account not to give him a name that turns out to be ridiculous here (he will go to school here).

I don't want to put my kids' actual names on here, but to give you a general idea of the situation so far, our eldest son has a Slavic 1st name and a Scottish middle name - eg, Jakob Struan. 2nd son has a Welsh 1st name and a middle name that is the same in Slavic and English, eg Rhys Peter. Youngest son has Slavic 1st name and Slavic middle name (but middle name has a very obvious equivalent in English), eg Primoz Tomaz.

I really wanted to call this one Ruaraidh (but spell it Ruari for ease of pronounciation here) or Struan but husband tells me neither of those would work here due to what they would sound like in the local language. Robert or David or Gregor or Simon or Benjamin would all be good options as they are in common usage here and spelled the same as in English (albeit pronounced a bit differently) but although these are all perfectly decent names I just don't love any of them and I'm trying to think of a name that isn't weird but sounds good...

any suggestions?? Thanks for your time!

I suppose if he will be going to school in a Slavic country, and growing up there, you would likely be best giving him a first name that is almost the same or just works well in Slavic/English, and a Scottish middle name. I don't know if any of these will be suitable for you - as which names will work will largely depend on what country you are in - however, here are some suggestions:

Milos Ruari
Ivan Ruari
Kristjan Ruari
Wilhelm Ruari
Stefan Ruari
Andrei/Andrik Struan
Nicholai Struan
Aleksander/Oleksander Struan
Jozef Struan
