Dm is getting on our case to find out what names we've picked so we want to wind her up a bit Grin

I recently met a Richenda (parents Richard and Brenda).

Also met a little Taylah and managed to keep a straight face.

lynmilne65 · 15/09/2018 16:31

RockinHippy · 15/09/2018 16:39

Neveah "Its heaven backwards!"

Lwmommy · 15/09/2018 17:48

I knew twins called Maria Victoria and Maria Louise could never get over the strange notion of giving both kids basically the same name.

Other suggestion

Theone (pronounced The One, met this child once)

Elllicam · 15/09/2018 17:53

What about two versions of your own and husbands name? So if you were Maria and he was Donald you could have Marild and Aldma?

CupOfStars · 15/09/2018 18:01

I love you all Grin

Dm would actually be quite pleased if we said Keith and sheila or similar.

Little Sebaveta and Elistian might be our first port of call. Or maybe just tell her we're naming them after mil and fil.

Le dash a is becoming quite popular. Or the ever popular John-Lewis (Have heard both of these in real life) John-Lewis had a brother called John-Paul and his sister was Cinderella Confused

vampirethriller · 15/09/2018 18:27

I heard a little girl being called Ladybird while waiting for the train not long ago. And met a Bluebell on the tram.
Twins, you could go for Tia Maria and Jack Daniel?

CupOfStars · 15/09/2018 18:36

I'd forgotten I'd met a little Precious once.

Actually thought it was quite cute but it kind of ruined the effect when it was being said by a very fed up grandpa following her about repeating 'No, Precious.' 'Don't touch that, Precious' every two seconds

Do a Beckham and name them after where they were conceived, Klapham and Kho-man or Travail and Lodje or something. A nice believable reason for the madness is always a plus.

MikeUniformMike · 15/09/2018 19:10

How about Chelsea for a girl and Hotspur for a boy

MikeUniformMike · 15/09/2018 19:11

Klapham is brilliant. How about Krouchend, Kroyden or Kanarywharf for the twin?

Annandale · 15/09/2018 19:15

Genuinely struggling to breathe after your post ElQuinto, thank you Grin

Rayon and Merino
Roger and Valerie
Hewlett and Packard
Sergei and Bezos

m0therofdragons · 15/09/2018 19:17

Dd1 told my parents our twins were going to be Fairy and Mary. Dm believed her and started trying to get used to it. I found out when dtds were a few weeks old and dm let it slip she was relieved we'd chosen normal names Grin- dd1 was 3 and had no idea the stress she caused dm.

Tequilamockinbird · 15/09/2018 19:26

La-La. pronounced 'Ladashla'

Glumglowworm · 15/09/2018 19:32

Renesmee or equivalent (your mum’s name and DH’s mum’s name mushed together)

Yooneek version of your own name

Actually how about just Yooneek
