Eff -ra-him.

Have no idea.

ReginaPhalange89 · 24/08/2018 20:12

In my head I said eff-ray-um

Sunflower321 · 24/08/2018 20:14

Eff-ra-im

WisestIsShe · 24/08/2018 20:14

I know one who pronounces it, Ef ram.

Sunflower321 · 24/08/2018 20:14

Is that correct?

MrsMolehillMountain · 24/08/2018 20:16

Eff-rye-eem

SuperstarDJ · 24/08/2018 20:18

Eff-ram. Have no clue if that’s correct.

whiskeysourpuss · 24/08/2018 20:18

Eef-rum

I've watched 7 brides for 7 brothers way too many times Blush

Hippopotas · 24/08/2018 20:24

Eff ram

UserThenLotsOfNumbers · 24/08/2018 20:25

I know an Ephraim.
It's pronounced eff-ram.

ThanksItHasPockets · 24/08/2018 20:28

Eff-rime, second syllable to rhyme with ‘time’.

Quangot · 24/08/2018 20:35

E frame.

BigGlasses · 24/08/2018 20:54

My great uncle was an Ephraim ( or possibly Ephriam) and I remember it was pronounced EF-ri-ham with the stress on first. Or some times F-ram. Mostly he was called uncle ef. He hated his name.

dmvnqpkejnvejrfnpwdkfjvn · 24/08/2018 21:05

Ee frame

piglet81 · 24/08/2018 21:28

Eef-r'm (unspecified vowel sound there!) because I've only encountered one and that's how he pronounced it.

Lucylookingforhelp · 24/08/2018 21:29

E-frame

Sophronia · 24/08/2018 23:00

Eff rum

MikeUniformMike · 25/08/2018 13:56

Eff-rime

Sessy19 · 25/08/2018 14:05

I do know an Efraim and he pronounces it EFF-rum

MikeUniformMike · 25/08/2018 15:06

I'd guess it was Eff-rame, but I used the Welsh pronunciation.

Northumberlandlass · 25/08/2018 15:07

Eff-ram - that’s how Babs says it on Hello Dolly....

TheVanguardSix · 25/08/2018 15:12

Efrem or Ephrem is the more used alternative- same name, just a different spelling. A little bit more ‘user friendly’.

Joseph is much better.
Or Abraham/Avram if you’re into something similar.

MrsBonnie · 25/08/2018 15:42

Eef-rum for sure! If you’re going by the biblical way.

bridgetreilly · 25/08/2018 15:46

E-frame is how it's usually pronounced in the UK, and Eff-rame in the US.

CarrieErbag · 25/08/2018 15:49

Eef-rum.
