We have settled on a boys name we love but are struggling to think of a girl's name.
I like Rosalie, Meredith and Orlaith but OH says they will be lost on his polish family. We both really like Violet but I don't love it.

DD is 8 and has a Polish girl in her class called Zuzanna - she goes by Zuzu at school (not sure about home), but in my experience lots of children have different nn at home and school.

My friend has a Zosha. It's Zosia in Polish but they changed the spelling to make it easier for English speakers. I think it's lovely.

I know a Scottish woman named after her Polish grandmother, she is called Halina. I like it as it’s easy to pronounce and unusual but still has a sort of familiar sound to it. I don’t know if it is an anglicised spelling.
