Phoebe with a B surname

Really like the name for Phoebe as a potential for dd 2 due in 12 weeks, my only reservation is that our surname starts with a B, is it too many B sounds?

I think it could sound weird, but equally might be alright... Hard to know without knowing the surname. Does it have any 'ee' sounds?

I’ve just said Phoebe with a few B surnames out loud and they all sound fine in my accent (middle class Home Counties)

I think it sounds fine unless it’s a repetition of the “bee” sound so Phoebe Baker- fine Phoebe Beany too much of a mouthful.

I think it's fine (although it may depend on how your surname sounds overall).

I don't think anyone raised eyebrows at the surname of the Friends character Phoebe Buffay...

As previous poster said, a sur anme like Behan would not work. I'd think what did I hear. Where did the sur name start?
I'd rule out sur names starting with the bee sound and also a 'beh' sound. Like Bell, Bellington, Benson.

But Phoebe Baker or Phoebe Barker do work.

Would you consider another name to phoebe? Something similar? Like Felicity?
All in all I don't think there will be to many 'bes' by naming her phoebe and B as surname tbh..😊

The name is 2 syllables and ends in a 'ee' sound - think along the lines of Bailey, Bentley etc, however as previous posters pointed out Phoebe Buffay got on ok!

I only know two phoebes and both their surnames begin with B. Can't say I'd ever noticed before so definitely doesn't sound odd.

*cheaperthebetter DH and I are having a very hard time finding a name we both like! The list is quite short, at the moment it's this or Molly but I prefer Phoebe.
