I like Isobel, Imogen, Evelyn and Beatrice. I also like Eleanor but not so keen on Elinor, not sure why.

kenandbarbie · 21/07/2018 11:22

Would the weirdness be decreased by using Nell day to day with Elinor just for formal things?

Yika · 21/07/2018 11:28

Iseult is lovely.

How about
Cassandra
Celine
Ariadne
Leonie

I love Iris as I have one. We considered Violet too so from your list I would say those are my favourites 😁

Sessy19 · 21/07/2018 12:30

@TatianaLarina In the UK you would pronounce Isolde with the ‘uh’ sound at the end. The German may be the same, but I was referring to PPs question to prinounciation...not heritage.

TatianaLarina · 21/07/2018 12:51

Nope - the point is that Isolde is a German name. In the U.K. you have the choice of pronouncing it the German or the French way. The emphasis on the e is entirely German.

Heritage is directly relevant to pronunciation.

You put Imogen on your list twice? Maybe this is the name??? Smile

MrsMarigold · 21/07/2018 16:39

Elizabeth
Marianne
Emma
Harriet
Emily
