Which do you prefer? Based on looks and sound, as opposed to practicality, if that makes sense. Thanks! Smile

Cassandra seems dated to me. But I love Cassia and Cassiopeia (the latter is my favourite name that I'm not brave enough to use!)

Seraphina is OK. Although there were once two in one of DD1s baby classes and it seemed a bit awkward as it's obviously an "unusual" name.

They're both a bit frilly for me

Cassandra is an Ancient Greek name, I’m not sure how you think that can date.

CharlieBoo · 21/07/2018 08:03

I also think of only fools and horses when I hear cassandra

LostwithSawyer · 22/07/2018 17:43

Cassie is nicer.

hairylegsonshow · 22/07/2018 17:50

Seraphina is a bit of a mouthful to say.

AuntieStella · 22/07/2018 17:51

I much prefer Seraphina

(though Cassie is a lovely nn - I prefer Kassia as the long form , if you want to have one)

Other names which I think have a similar vibe: Zephyrine, Delphine, Saffron, Carolina, Calliope, Artemis

Smoliver · 22/07/2018 17:59

Cassandra edges it for mainly for the nickname Cassie

SwedishEdith · 22/07/2018 18:06

Prefer Seraphine - one less syllable.

Lucylookingforhelp · 07/08/2018 22:10

Don’t particularly like either but seraphina is especially fussy. Do like Cassie though so Cassandra
