What names would you never use because you associate them with unpleasant girls from school?

For me: Sian, Veronica, Claire and Bronagh.

Mine are Sian, Kirstie, Charlotte and Faye

Weirdly I've never met a horrible Claire, Laura or Jenny.

squeelof1 · 11/07/2018 14:48

Charlotte, Laura, Shannon, Emma.
With Laura being the worst offender, always one little nasty b*tch named Laura at each keystage of education and primary/secondary school.

P.S and Jack for boys; continuous bad experiences of Jack's.
Laura's and Jack's, ugh.

Jasmine, stole food. Gillians, all mean. Lindsays, all mean-girl perfect. Every Louise was wet. (That's my middle name and I don't like it!)

headinhands · 11/07/2018 14:49

I love the name Louise. One of dd's has it. Loveliest girl at school was a Louise.

BexleyRae · 11/07/2018 14:50

Stacey, she was supposed to be a friend, but actually bullied me horribly

Pebblespony · 11/07/2018 14:51

Beatrice. But, to be fair, it was never going to be a runner for our daughter.

Yeaididthat · 11/07/2018 14:51

Danielle

WakeUpSlow · 11/07/2018 14:53

Natasha, Jo, Caroline, Lauren and Stephanie- bitchy mean girls from various stages of school.

Cliveybaby · 11/07/2018 14:54

Alexandra, and Cara

Horrible girls who are now horrible women, I expect.

AdoreAMoose · 11/07/2018 14:56

Anita, Daisy, Dominique, Caoimhe.

I don't count more popular names like Emma and Claire because I've met lovely ones who make up for the nasty ones, so it evens out.

Coffeeisyourfriend · 11/07/2018 14:58

Molly, Kirsty, Bethany, Amy, Ashleigh, Sophie, Becky, Rhiannon, Natalie, Kerry, Ella, Tiffany.
Only 4 of them are from school days and only one bullied me but the others were either complete bitches or people I just couldn't get on board with being friends with and as such just hate the sames now!
(One of them is my SIL!)

HowlsMovingBungalow · 11/07/2018 14:59

Nicola, Theresa, Jo, Sarah, Faye and Caroline and the odd Clare and Emma.
Boys - Stuart, Stephen, Simon.

Flooffloof · 11/07/2018 14:59

Rebecca, God what a total bitch she was.
Emma, Cathy, Amanda, Ellen or maybe Helen

It’s horrible to see my own name mentioned several times on here! I’m really very nice, honestly Grin
You can break associations with names, my dad has the same name as an awful girl I knew at school, but it’s ‘her’ name now, I don’t think of the other girl at all.

LauraMipsum · 11/07/2018 15:03

Given that names go through fashions and in the 70's/80's names like Claire were very popular, it stands to reason that we will have met one at some point that we didn't like. (Am not a Claire btw.)
In the future people will be saying this about Grace and Eve amd Ella, simply because there are a lot of them about.

Stringofpearls · 11/07/2018 15:11

Hannah, Kelly and Karen

Timeisslippingaway · 11/07/2018 15:17

Samantha, not a girl in my class but an older girl that kicked me for no reason when I was out playing, bitch!

Tenpenny · 11/07/2018 15:18

Every Wendy ive known has been cold and two-faced. They also have another awful reputation on here as I recall Grin

headinhands · 11/07/2018 15:25

Oh lol not my dad obv, I meant dd

No worries. I hadn't assumed your dad's gender.
