Heard it for the first time recently and quite like it. What's your thoughts?

Lyra or Lydia would be better.

I'm still confused about pronunciation. Iris to me has an 'eye' sound. Liris with an eye sound is not nice sounding at all, even though I quite like Iris as a name. Perhaps because the fist syllable is lie. Liris like virus is even more unattractive. Lyric on the other hand has a 'le' sound at the beginning and is quite melodious. I don't think I like Liris pronounced like that either though, and names that no one knows how to pronounce are a pain.

So it’s really just like Lyrics without the c? The more I say it the more I think it could be a grower, but on first hearing I wasn’t convinced.

Alli Yes it is. Wish I'd said it at the start. Sorry for confusion.

I like it. It's fun to say and it looks nice.

Reading it at first I thought it was pronounced Iris but with an L, which doesn't sound nice.
Lyrics without the c sounds lovely though, but I would spell it Lyris. It looks prettier and I think makes the pronunciation more intuitive.
