If I didn't have to agree a name with DH I'd call my girl Elsie & my boy Ezra

What about you?

Boy: Ezra. Elliott
Girl: Posy. Ellen.

Pebblespony · 14/06/2018 23:29

Juno or Aifric for a girl. DH was very much against. I knew I was expecting a girl so only thought about girl names. Not really that gone on any boy's names.

Carouselfish · 15/06/2018 00:01

Flora, Faye, Tempest

'No it's butter'
'No, I knew an awful girl called that'
'Just, no.'

Most sad about Faye. Wanted that since I was a little girl myself.

Ned- vetoed because of Game of Thrones
Imogen- "too posh" apparently

DownUdderer · 15/06/2018 07:13

Oooh! I’ve seen Griffin twice, that’s ds name :)

I’d like Willow or Talon

OakIsBetterTho · 15/06/2018 07:17

Charles (Charlie) - family name my side but DP not keen, well likely compromise and have a Charlotte in there somewhere
Roman, Tristan - love both these names and actually DP doesn't dislike them, but they're not very 'us'
Georgiana - my favourite ever girls name, DP says it's pretentious he has a point
Helena - sooo beautiful but again, DP says pretentious
Corinne - he says it sounds like either green or coffin depending on how you say it 🤔
Nora - DP just hates this one 😂

Lobsterquadrille2 · 15/06/2018 13:33

I do love Posy but it always makes me think of unfortunate but true

Crunchymum · 15/06/2018 16:15

William for a boy or Indiana for a girl.

Both vetoed (relative of DP called William and Indiana was "too out there")

Our DS has a top 10 name and both DD's have old lady names outside of top 100.

userabcname · 15/06/2018 16:16

DS would have been George or Felix. Girls names we agree on!

WrideD · 15/06/2018 18:03

If it was totally up to me (even though we've gone with Winston which I hadn't thought of before and actually love now), I always dreamed my son would be;

Hallam Gabriel Jude or Hallam Gabriel Keir

Literally everyone I've asked has hated Hallam though and said it sounds like Halal so probably a good thing.

bridgetreilly · 16/06/2018 20:12

Winifred nn Freddie.

Oysterbabe · 17/06/2018 07:54

whatstheplanphil · 25/06/2018 05:34

I loved Elvis for a boy and if i had had a girl i would have wanted to use Constance or Nancy.

Laurel543 · 25/06/2018 05:39
