Annabelle and Evelyn

infertilitybitch · 12/05/2018 22:10

I did adore Arabella until I mentioned it to a bloke one day and he said "isn't that part of a women's bits?" with a very Confused look

He had it muddled with Labia it turns out Wink

EmmaSwann · 12/05/2018 22:34

What about Arabella and Atalanta ?

DramaAlpaca · 12/05/2018 22:39

Arabella is very pretty. Everleigh really isn't.

Canone · 12/05/2018 22:46

These feel like the opposite ends of the spectrum to me.

How about Arabella and Evelina?

PodgeBod · 13/05/2018 07:40

I like Everleigh but don't like Arabella at all.

BB2018 · 13/05/2018 08:42

I’m quite surprised people don’t like the combo - I think it works and both are nice, plus relatively unusual.

Though agree with others that Evelyn is a nice alternative, I love that name!

RedDwarves · 13/05/2018 09:22

Arabella is lovely. Everleigh (and every possible spelling of it) is awful.

SuburbanRhonda · 13/05/2018 09:25

Everleigh would forever be resentful that you gave her sister an actual girl’s name and her the name of a village.

SoupDragon · 13/05/2018 09:27

I bet not many Beverly's are recorded in 2018 Confused

Probably similar to the number of Everleighs. However, Beverley is a known name.

KirstenRaymonde · 13/05/2018 09:29

One old school traditional name, with one Americanised surname masquerading as a first name. Odd combination. Everleigh/Everly, however you spell it, just awful.

Pompom42 · 13/05/2018 09:38

I like the names although I think they are a bit of a mouthful.
I know a girl named Arabella she just gets called Bella

ferrier · 13/05/2018 09:39

Agree with pp.
Plus I would assume Everleigh was a boy.

DwangelaForever · 13/05/2018 09:48

Everleigh is horrible. As is everly. Sorry jmo.

CarysMa · 13/05/2018 09:50

What an odd pairing.

I would put Arabella with Evelyn

That seems to go better.

I like the sound of Beverley. It's dated yes but I prefer it to Everleigh.

chezmk1988 · 13/05/2018 12:52

Arabella is nice. I like Everleigh but don't like the spelling. I'd spell it Everly

thetriangleisarealinstrument · 13/05/2018 12:54

I live Arabella... not so keen on Everleigh. Maybe Evelyn? or Beverly?

PandaCat · 13/05/2018 13:52

Not keen on the spelling of Everleigh, but don't mind the sound of it. Arabella is nice.

TheVanguardSix · 13/05/2018 13:57

Everley is a much nicer spelling.

MammieBear · 13/05/2018 15:41

Perhaps not Everliegh with Arabella how about Sienna, Havana, Genevieve...

Pemba · 14/05/2018 13:29

Arabella is nice, and quite unusual. Everleigh is daft, however you spell it, and sounds too much like Beverley (yuck), as pps said. Completely different styles of name, they don't seem to go together at all.

TatianaLarina · 14/05/2018 15:10

Everleigh is hell no. Unless you live in Essex in which case it will fit in well.

Arabella is fine trad English name. Why not go for another similar?

Otherwise one gets the posh name the other gets the chav name, which isn’t really fair.

HappyLollipop · 14/05/2018 15:17

Arabella is fine but Everleigh is terrible. What about Evelyn? that goes well with Arabella.

CaptainCabinets · 14/05/2018 15:40

Arabella is okay, very ‘rah’.

Everleigh doesn’t go without Arabella at all, plus it’s just not very nice.

CaptainCabinets · 14/05/2018 15:45

Go with*, sorry!
