For a boy.... I think the sound of the name but understand it could be considered a bit erm, opposite of posh thanks to Katie Price... Not that we're looking for a posh name.

I don't like it.
Religious connotations. River. Surname. Unattractive sound - Jaw dun.
Nope.

I like it on a boy and the nn jordy is cute.

SoaveSally · 25/04/2018 15:10

I don't like it, sorry. How about Jerome?

LoveInTokyo · 25/04/2018 16:33

OP, the other names you have suggested are all a lot more, er, “middle class” than Jordan.

Jordan doesn’t make me think of Katie Price specifically, but it makes me think of people like Katie Price.

BonnieF · 25/04/2018 16:48

Depends how MC you aand your family are, or wish to appear.

If you care about your child having an obviously MC name, Jordan would not be ideal.

If you don’t care about such nonsense, Jordan is fine.

NC4Now · 25/04/2018 17:01

What about Jonjo?

Screams chav to me

AGreatBigPonk · 26/04/2018 14:23

It makes me think of early 20's males - family member is a Jordan and one of many in his peers...think it had a huge popularity burst in early/mid 90's. Feels maybe a bit of its time? I do like it though!

L1lacw1ne · 26/04/2018 14:52

Jordan still makes me think of Katie Price. From time to time, she still references her inner "Jordan".

Jacob and Zachary go well with Elijah, and I love Theo!

FizzyGreenWater · 26/04/2018 14:58

Don't like Jordan at all, sorry.

Theo or Jacob are both good.

MockneyReject · 26/04/2018 20:33

My early 20s DS was at school with several Jordans plus Jack, Jake, Jacob, Liam, Connor, Cameron, Callum, Ethan, Euan, Charlie, Mitchell, Mason, Mcauley, Harry and Oliver.
I'm fond of few Jordans, but it's firmly rooted in the 90s, in my mind, along with the others I've listed.
