Sabine is lovely

DramaAlpaca · 18/04/2018 21:33

I like both, especially Sabine.

Carouselfish · 19/04/2018 00:50

I like Sabine. Reminds me of another name I like that I just discovered - Faline (the girlfriend of Bambi the deer).

gwen25 · 19/04/2018 12:00

I prefer Sabine.

mrsgumpy · 22/04/2018 07:05

I absolutely love Sabine.

If we had a third, it would be on the list.

pipilangstrumpf · 22/04/2018 07:29

I know a Sabine, pronounced Sa-bee-ne.

MollyHuaCha · 22/04/2018 07:48

I like Sabina

rosamore · 22/04/2018 07:55

DH's cousin is Sabine, pronounced Sabina (German), but I would still presume that it was pronounced sah-been. Beautiful name.

dementedma · 22/04/2018 08:02

Sabine is lovely - reminds me of the girl in Moulin Rouge.
I also love Athene.

pipilangstrumpf · 23/04/2018 06:42

In French it's Sabeen
Thanks n German it's Sa-been-eh

Don't know how I'd pronounce it in English actually

pipilangstrumpf · 23/04/2018 06:42

Sorry in German it's Sa-been-eh

NetofLemons · 23/04/2018 06:58

Sabine is associated to me with mass rape of women (which is then presented as ‘sexy’ by artists since classical times). There are horrific modern parallels to this tactic from classical mythology being used today.

I like Sabine. Funny, that.

scrivette · 25/04/2018 22:57

I like Sabine (awesome racing driver too)

dinosaurkisses · 27/04/2018 00:30

Love Sabine. Would consider using it for a future DD if I hadn't already inintentionally named DD1 the Irish translation 😂
