Thoughts on:

Nina
Phoebe
Zoë
Chloë

Sister for Lucas
We’ve got a long double barrelled surname.
Any other ideas?
Thanks

All are nice. Chloe was ruined for me when it became hugely popular.
I don't like Feebs, Chlo or Zo, so I wound go for Nina

MikeUniformMike · 16/04/2018 21:13

would not wound

TroubledLichen · 16/04/2018 21:16

In order of preference:
Phoebe
Chloe
Zoe
Nina (I’m with your DH and really don’t like this one)

TatianaLarina · 16/04/2018 21:16

NIna sounds dreadful with a London accent - Neenah. And there are a lot of them.

Agent13 · 16/04/2018 21:36

Well ‘luckily’ we don’t have London accents Tatiana! Hmm

I don’t know a single Nina, of any age, I’m surprised you’re saying it’s common!

Innit.

Fridasfridgefreezer · 16/04/2018 21:56

Phoebe
Then Zoe
Nina

Chloe.
I hear Nina and Zoe quite a bit now with the under sixes.

badg3r · 16/04/2018 23:31

I love Nina but thing it is going to be mega popular.

DramaAlpaca · 16/04/2018 23:35

I like Zoe very much.

Nina is nice, but not a strong name I don't think.

Phoebe & Chloe wouldn't be my favourites but they are nice enough.

kaytee87 · 17/04/2018 12:44

Phoebe is by far the nicest and 'goes' well with Lucas

Rhodes2015again · 17/04/2018 12:47

I’m called Nina.... I hate it!
I’m really shocked And quite pleased how many people like it though!
I like phoebe best x

expatmigrant · 17/04/2018 13:36

Show your husband the top 100 names list. He can then see how popular Chloe, Phoebe and Zoe are and that it is likely that there will be more than one of those in her classes.

He might not be keen because he has not heard the name as much.
Nina is still pretty exclusive...but then I'm biased.Grin

LastNightsMakeUp · 17/04/2018 18:38

Zoe and Phoebe are my favourites. I know a newborn and 8 year old Phoebe... never heard them referred to in terms of 'friends' although Phoebe was an awesome character so that wouldn't put me off. Zoe is pretty and classic.

daisypond · 17/04/2018 19:12

All are nice. I wouldn't put the accent marks on Chloe or Zoe either. Chloe, Zoe and Phoebe all are similar names, and Nina is different. If it helps, I know people called all of these. The Chloes I know range from 18 to their mid-20s. The Phoebe is 18, and I know three Ninas - in their early 20s.

unicornchaser · 19/04/2018 22:26

I really like Chloe and is top of my shortlist! People saying its really common but I think ya barely top 50 now and the only Chloe I know of is my age (late 20's) and the model one...... so maybe area dependant?

Pemba · 20/04/2018 04:42

I think all your names are gorgeous. Perhaps Phoebe is my least favourite, but I still like it - you have great taste!

Maya, Lara, Rosa, Cleo, Anna, Stella are in the same sort of vein.

puzzlepiece · 20/04/2018 08:04

I love them all but mostly love Nina! Have added it to my own list Grin

RedDwarves · 20/04/2018 09:36

Chloe is my favourite, followed by Phoebe.

I like Zoe too, but don't like Nina.

Would lose the accents over Chloe and Zoe though, because they're unnecessary and no one will use them in their every day life.
