Nicest/least nice name between Hazel, Camille, Amber and Eleanor?

I'd like to hear opinions. Thanks. I'm thinking I might like Camille best, but not certain fully.

I’m a hazel too and agree with the previous poster. I did get called hazelnut quite a lot at school, but it didn’t bother me too much. Other kids had worse names.

As I’m older I absolutely love my name and never once have I wished my parents named me something more normal!

Eleanor best, Hazel least.

I think Eleanor is a really ugly name - Elena is a bit better.
Camille is ok. I wouldn't choose it but it's fine.
I like Amber.
Hazel is my favourite, I have a Hazel and I love her name. She is super cute and beautiful.

I really like Hazel.

I do not like the others much.

Definitely Hazel! DH and I love the name and wanted it for DD2, but it doesn't work with our surname. We settled on using it as her middle name

1. Eleanor (first by a long way!)
2. Hazel
3. Camille (Camilla would be much better)
4. Amber

Eleanor is the best. It’s utterly gorgeous and extremely elegant.
I dislike Camille, however I really like Camilla.

So I’d go :
Eleanor

I like Camille best then Amber and Eleanor. I don't like Hazel at all sorry.

Camille can be Cam-eel or Cam-ee
Amber is not popular on here
Hazel - nice but makes me think of a twig or rabbit

Eleanor is lovely and very “English Rose”.

Hazel is OK - don’t have strong feelings about it.

Amber is actually a lovely name but some people might think it is a bit of a stripper name.

Camille - to me this sounds wrong unless it’s pronounced with a French accent.

If you suggested Camilla rather than Camille it would be top of the list for me.

The only name is thinks just okay is Hazel.
