Baby names: would it be weird to abandon a pattern among cousins?

Expecting DC3 who is going to be a girl...

I have 2 DSes, as does my sister.

My sister's children are older and have 2 syllable names ending in N. this wasn't on purpose, a name she liked followed by a place inspired name. I then had my first DS and used a name both DH and I liked, coincidentally, 2 syllables ending in N. Didnt really think about it until DS2 came along and we used a family name, from DH, a maiden name that would have disappeared otherwise but worked as a male first name. But also, 2 syllables ending in N!

So by accident a bit of a clear pattern. And strangely enough DH and I have 2 syllable names ending in N and M so our names all have the same kind of sound/feel.

Two questions:

Do you think we need to maintain this pattern for DC3, even though it wasn't on purpose...I am worried that anything else will stand out like an afterthought...or maybe I'm overthinking...?

Can you suggest your favourite girls names that fit this pattern?

Thank you!

I get it, I like a sense of order as well and a name that didn’t follow it would always look wrong to me!

I totally get it. I am a patterns person, I like order and coordination and matchy but not twee. I don't like sibling names to start with the same initial, but I love a good sibset.

There are loads of two-syllable girls' names that end in N.

May I propose AUTUMN - it ENDS in N for you but also SOUNDS like it ends in M for your poor left-out husband! Grin
