What did you do when you couldn't agree on a name?

Did you compromise on a name you both kinda liked? Did one parent get to pick? Was baby nameless until you could decide?

I didn't insist, we just narrowed it down to a shortlist of three. His top favourite didn't make it on the list. Mine did, but he didn't know it was my first choice. Anyway, I find that after pushing a human out your fanny, it's quite easy to get your own way!

We just kept talking it through until we settled on a name. Didn't manage to agree on a middle name though which is why he has two.

When ds arrived (no 3) we had found a name we both liked and it really suits him too.
