I see your thinking DuggeeHugs, but not Ariel.

LadyGAgain · 21/05/2018 18:55

Phoenix?

FlyingDandelionSeed · 21/05/2018 20:56

Calypso?

throwcushions · 21/05/2018 21:01

Doris?

FintyTin · 21/05/2018 22:05

Not so far.

Apologies if I worded the clues confusingly. To clarify: the name is not that of a mythical creature itself, but one owner of the name may belong to a family who sound like strange beasts.

FlyingDandelionSeed · 21/05/2018 22:39

Gilly?

DuggeeHugs · 22/05/2018 09:49

Kitty?

OP posts:
FintyTin · 22/05/2018 20:07

No, sorry, not Gilly or Kitty.

She may be be seen in a dress or a suit, but recently it's definitely a dress.

LadyGAgain · 22/05/2018 21:37

Carmilla?

LadyGAgain · 22/05/2018 21:47

Alice or Esme?

FintyTin · 22/05/2018 21:53

Camilla is closest...

Bexter801 · 22/05/2018 22:14

Carmel?

DuggeeHugs · 23/05/2018 07:59

Meghan?

OP posts:
FintyTin · 23/05/2018 11:16

Yes, @DuggeeHugs has it.

Meg Griffin (Family Guy)
Meghan, Duchess of Sussex
Meghan Trainor (who - I am reliably informed - is all about the bass).

Well done and over to you Smile

DuggeeHugs · 23/05/2018 12:33

Ah Finty my brain was hurting. I guessed Griffin but couldn't remember Meg for love nor money. Great clues again!

Ok, not sure if this works or not but I'll give it a go:

His interpretation of the morally dubious father was hilariously free from envy, a far cry from the regal past

Bexter801 · 23/05/2018 21:44

No clue 😕 Harry?

DuggeeHugs · 23/05/2018 22:10

Another clue?

OP posts:
Bexter801 · 23/05/2018 22:23

Yes please Smile

DuggeeHugs · 24/05/2018 08:38

Sorry for the delay - dealing with a poorly baby and toddler Sad

For this clue you can look back 20 years or 800 to the rugged, verdant isle

OP posts:
throwcushions · 24/05/2018 09:37

Edward / Ted?

Hope they are both feeling better and you don't catch it!

throwcushions · 24/05/2018 09:38

No, Dermot!

DuggeeHugs · 24/05/2018 10:25

Thanks @throwcushions and your second guess is correct!

The funny yet morally dubious Father Ted was portrayed by Dermot Morgan
Dermot means free from envy
One of the earliest famous users of the name was King Dermot MacMurrough in the 11th century

Rugged isle was Craggy Island and verdant isle was Emerald Isle

Over to you Smile

Thank you! Hopefully this is ok...

This magical beauty can provide youthful assistance.

LadyGAgain · 24/05/2018 21:48

Belle?

throwcushions · 24/05/2018 22:24

Not Belle.
