Wyatt ....

I'm set on Wyatt for a girl. I know it's not to everyone's taste but I'm in love. However, I'm stuck for a feminine middle name that works. Our surname is like Wilson if that helps?

So far I only have Wyatt Lydia Wilson but I can't think of alternatives. Can anyone suggest feminine middle names that work?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
MrsDilber · 25/03/2018 04:57

You've got to think she'll be stuck with a boy's name for the rest of her life. She might not thank you for it.

Pemba · 25/03/2018 05:05

It's not unisex. It's very, very masculine, brings to mind an ageing cowboy (is this Wyatt Earp?) I know that Hollywood couple used it, but they were idiots (and unkind to their baby girl) to do so.

Please don't do that to your poor daughter.

clairehr · 25/03/2018 07:53

OP hasn't asked for opinions on her chosen name, just ideas for a middle name.

Wyatt Rose is cute

Would you hyphenate, or is it strictly middle name?

How about:

Wyatt Summer
Wyatt Ellie
Wyatt Emma
Wyatt Felicity
Wyatt Ruby
Wyatt Grace
Wyatt Eve
Wyatt Sophia
Wyatt Joy
Wyatt Jasmine

It's terrible. For a boy or a girl, especially a girl. Such a horrible sound to it.

PlateOfBiscuits · 25/03/2018 08:25

Are you trying to feminise it with a middle name?

Just bear in mind that her middle name will never get used in her day to day life.

PlateOfBiscuits · 25/03/2018 08:26

That said, if that’s the name you want then go for it. It would fit in where I live. Just make sure that you know most people will imagine a man before they meet her.

Viviennemary · 25/03/2018 19:27

It's absolutely dire. Poor child.

AnyaMoondial · 25/03/2018 20:42

I like it. I think Lucinda works as a middle.

Oysterbabe · 25/03/2018 20:47

So you wanted it for a boy, didn't have one so have decided to use it regardless. Don't you think that's a bit selfish? If you must, I'd use it as a middlename and give your daughter a girl's first name.

buttercup54321 · 25/03/2018 20:48

awful. especially with your surname. Wyatt Wilson. it looks like a firm of solicitors or estate agent. At best it just looks very masculine. Suppose you could stick with the Ws and have Wendy or Wilma as a middle name. But there are so many more attractive girls names.

TheJoyOfSox · 25/03/2018 20:55

I have to agree with @buttercup54321. Dreadful combination of names for a girl.
I really can’t help you.

villainousbroodmare · 25/03/2018 21:00

It's woeful. No middle name will help. Sorry.

wellalrighty · 25/03/2018 21:03

Wyatt Rose feels an odd combination of styles - they are very different and seem to jar against each other.

HoratioNightboy · 25/03/2018 21:40

Wyatt Marie
Wyatt Amelia
Wyatt Belinda
Wyatt Amanda

NameyMcChangeRae · 26/03/2018 20:33

Its dire, and I would assume you’d blatantly copied Ashton Kitcher and Mila Kunis.

What about Mila?!
Or, if you have to copy a celebrity, what about George clooneys twin names?

Wyattsalt · 29/08/2018 14:36

I'm interested too know what you ended up calling your daughter?
Wyatt is my last name I gave to my son as middle name and debating weather to give it to my daughter due this year as a middle name too Smile

Flamingosnbears · 29/08/2018 17:03

Not for a girl.

halcyondays · 29/08/2018 17:05

It's a boy's name, Wyatt Earp. i'd not be happy about being called this as a girl.

Sambsam · 30/09/2018 13:57

Sorry, I know this is a bit old, but I just stumbled across it and was taken aback. I had a little girl one month before this post went up... Wyatt Lydia Wilson! Just wondering if you went with it in the end ?

Cookit · 30/09/2018 14:05

Would you have heard of it as a girls name if not for Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher?

MikeUniformMike · 30/09/2018 14:09

Use it as a middle name. It's a boy's name.

Sambsam · 30/09/2018 14:10

Maybe not directed at me, but as I named my girl Wyatt too, I’ve got to say I didn’t know Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis had a girl called Wyatt until I started googling the name at around 8 months pregnant. And by then I really loved it. And it seems just as silly to NOT use a name because a celebrity did, as it would be to only use the name because they did. That’s what worked for me.

Kithulu · 30/09/2018 14:14

Why not try Wynonna ....or Waverly instead Grin for a more feminine version of Wyatt (Earp)

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 30/09/2018 17:14

It's just terrible. An boring surname. Why would you do that to your daughter? And everyone will say you've copied Ashton Kutcher.

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 30/09/2018 17:15
