Georgina or Georgiana

Which name do you prefer for DD2?

Bear in mind that DD1 is Elizabeth. I'm concerned that we might look a bit Pride and Prejudice obsessed if we go with Georgiana!

Georgia, love the Ray Charles song.

Georgina, much nicer than Georgia

Georgiana sounds like you're trying too hard. (But that might just be me thinking of Miss Darcy!) She'll almost certainly get called Georgie or George by everyone else anyway so it doesn't really make much difference in the long-run...

Georgina for me, though I do like Georgia too.

Georgiana. At least it's slightly original. Georgina is so boring.

Georgia is very, very Essex.

Georgiana is streets ahead.

Georgina. Choice of George, Georgie or Gina as nn.

Georgiana will get her name changed to Georgina by many. And is it George-aina, Georgie-Ahna or George-Ahna, Georgie-Anna or George-Anna?

If you don't like Gina as a nn, Georgia is lovely.

I would say it depends on where you live and background - Georgiana is more upper-middle and Georgina is more lower-middle. I think Georgiana would mostly be reverted to Georgina depending on this factor.

I like both but prefer Georgiana

I prefer Georgette though
