DH thinks too many F's

For a long time now, I wanted Freddie for our baby (due in 18 days!)

DH is totally on board with it, first or middle name. I want Freddie after my Grandad, so really it was non-negotiable Grin

We've still been occasionally mentioning names. But nothing has stood out enough for me to want that as a first name.

UNTIL
DH mentioned Felix.
I can't stop thinking about it.
I absolutely love it.

But DH thinks Felix Freddie is too much.
Our surname begins with M and I think it flows quite nicely.. no one actually uses a middle name anyway.

Felix Frederick.

Felix Frederick works. Freddie is a bit babyish.

Another vote for Felix Frederick but if it's too many Fs for your DH how about Felix George to honour your Grandad?

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 20/03/2018 22:14

Yes, Felix George is good !

RavenWings · 20/03/2018 23:07

I suppose it is a lot of Fs but I don't think it's too terrible. Felix George is really lovely, though. I'd choose Felix Frederick over Felix Freddie.

Felix George Freddie M is lovely

Bringmewineandcake · 20/03/2018 23:22

I like Felix Freddie...less keen on Felix Frederick because then you’ve got the duplication of the ‘ic’ sound as well as the ‘F’.
If you like it go for it!

i love alliterative names. My youngest ds has the same initial for first/middle and surname. I get nothing but compliments for it.
