Guessing Game

Thought this would make a fun thread and maybe also provide names for people that are choosing that they wouldn't have thought of otherwise.

Think of a name (your child's or any name really) and provide 3 clues.

Other posters have to guess the name and once someone gets it right, it's their turn!

I'll start:

2 syllables

Very definitely a boys name but there is a feminine version

2 very common abbreviations/nicknames

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Peter

DuggeeHugs · 11/03/2018 12:42

Also going with Peter

DramaAlpaca · 11/03/2018 13:37

I'm thinking Peter because of the gates, but not sure about fading away.

WinkyisbackontheButterBeer · 11/03/2018 13:53

I am such a div. I meant peter because of the gates.
Just got the name of the keeper of Heaven wrong. Duh!

Also, as in Peter out, maybe?

DramaAlpaca · 11/03/2018 13:59

Peter out - of course!

applesandpears56 · 11/03/2018 20:50

On the assumption Peter is right -

Girls name

Has various spellings

DuggeeHugs · 11/03/2018 21:19

Alison/Alyson?

applesandpears56 · 11/03/2018 21:22

applesandpears56 · 11/03/2018 21:23

Can see why you guessed that though

8DaysAWeek · 11/03/2018 21:27

DuggeeHugs · 11/03/2018 21:30

applesandpears56 · 11/03/2018 21:38

applesandpears56 · 11/03/2018 21:39

Celtic is the right theme though

8DaysAWeek · 11/03/2018 21:40

applesandpears56 · 11/03/2018 21:41

8DaysAWeek · 11/03/2018 21:43

applesandpears56 · 11/03/2018 21:44

Yes but you have to get the right spelling Smile

8DaysAWeek · 11/03/2018 21:45

Lol ok - neve, neev, neave, nieve!?

(Is that cheating? Wink)

applesandpears56 · 11/03/2018 21:45

Still not right! Grin

applesandpears56 · 11/03/2018 21:47

I’ll give you the win though - Niamh
It’s my dd’s name - you had a and i the wrong way wrong. We get all sorts of odd spellings and pronounciations!

user1459464195 · 11/03/2018 21:48
