Middle name - Winifred or Wilfreda/Elfreda

Just trying to bounce this around a bit... DD3 will be named Elizabeth. We want to use family names (2) as middle names. The other middle name will be Rose.
So:
Elizabeth Winifred Rose
Elizabeth Wilfreda Rose

or possibly although a bit of a looser family name (based on Wilfred)

Elizabeth Elfreda Rose.

Any thoughts?

I like Wilfreda! I’ve never heard it before but it sounds really pretty with the other names and is the closest to Wilfred.

My favourite is Elizabeth Winifred Rose.

I don't like Elfreda and I Wilfreda doesn't sound like a name, I read it as Willy-fredaGrin (sorry)

Winifred was my mother's middle name. Even though she was born in the 1920's, she hated it. Always. Never in fashion.

Although I prefer the actual names Winifreda and Elfreda, I actually think that Elizabeth Winifred Rose flows better. I'd go with that.

you could spell it Winefride, who was Welsh and a bit like Bernadette ie she is connected to a healing spring. It is the oldest place of pilgrimage in the UK.

I would just go for Elizabeth Wilfred Rose! The other two names are super feminine so there certainly wouldn't be any confusion and I think it would be a sweet story to explain who she's named after.

Nope, I meant Wilfred. I think it's cool! I know a family with two daughters who both have their dad's first name as their middle name - think that's a tradition from somewhere in South Asia.

Elizabeth Elfrida Rose (Elfrida spelled that way) would be my choice.

I don't have anything positive to say about either Winifred or Wilfreda, and I don't like the Elfreda spelling, but Elfrida is pretty.

Thanks Drama. Yes, I like Elfrida spelt that way but unfortunately, it wouldn't be representative of Wilfred at all if I spelt it that way.
