@badg3r you make a very good point and thanks to all for loving the name/other great suggestions! Love some of the names mentioned!

The thing is I loved Zara way before I had Zain.
With Zain, it was the first name suggested by my husband and I just agreed to it. There was no real thoughts process behind it.
I feel that I have loved the name Zara for a long time and will always feel sad that I didn’t use it esp considering at one point it looked highly unlikely that we were going to have another child due to health issues. Agh sorry for the essay. So hard to choose!

OP if you love Zara, stick with it.
I personally wouldn't do alliterative names but I don't think Zain & Zara sounds silly - as another pp said it actually sounds quite sweet. They're not the same sex so won't get the confusion of whose post is for who as they'll have different prefixes, and even though it's the same first letter they sound quite different.

Stick with what you love :)

I like it a lot and think it is fine with Zain. Sounds stronger than Sara or Lara.

Miserablemouse oh you are so lovely thank you. Star

Zara is gorgeous and the shop is not an issue. It’s in the top 100 girls’ names so it obviously doesn’t put many people off.

Zahra is a beautiful and legitimate alternative spelling if you want to separate it from the shop even more.

ZaZathecat · 28/02/2018 10:13

Just use the name you love! There's nothing wrong with it. The shop name is neither here nor there - it's not like you want to call her Debenhams or something. You may regret being swayed by a bunch of randoms on MN.

ZaZathecat · 28/02/2018 10:14

Of course you could use ZaZa!! Grin

deste · 28/02/2018 10:17

Use it, I think they are lovely together.

seetherange · 28/02/2018 10:18

Zaza Grin love it lol

I like Zara and I think it goes really well with Zain!

I wouldn’t worry about the shop. George clothing at Asda hasn’t stopped the name George from being popular!

seetherange · 28/02/2018 10:19

With Zahra people will still end up calling her Zara sometimes!
Glad so many of you like it!

I'm not keen tbh. But there's nothing wrong with it.

seetherange · 28/02/2018 10:20

Oh yea forgot about George. That’s so true

Speedy85 · 28/02/2018 17:47

I’d just go with it OP.

It’s not like you are suggesting calling her Tesco!

I like Zara and think of the royal rather than the shop.
