How many girls named Elodie do you know?

Is it as popular as it seems? I’ve never met one but keep hearing the name everywhere so they must be out there!

I know one, who is 1 - the younger sibling of one of my MN baby buses.

It's a very pretty name, and I'm surprised I don't know of more of them!

DH's first choice for a girl last time. We had a boy. I wasn't over-keen on it. We don't know any but it's the name of a brand of chewy fruit sweets in France, which would have stuck in my mind. Nice sweets but not so great you'd name your child after them.

Laurz, that name is pronounced 'Aylee' (ish), I think. Different name.

I know 3, aged 4, 3 and 2. I also knew a baby called Elodie when my DD1 was a baby. I stole her name for DD2 Wink

When she was little she got nicknamed Eddie for a while. She hates that now. Dm warmed me it wouldn't be shortened to Ellie. It never has been as most children can pronounce it as intended.
I have no regrets at all with her name except sometimes it's read out ell-low-dee

None. I have a 2 year old and have never met an Elodie in any of the baby groups, my online due date group, swimming class, nursery, or you know, actual real life friends of whom about 20 have children. Bit strange actually as it's a lovely name! (SE England here)
