We had almost settled on Katherine for DC 3 but dh has said he is going off it. We liked Kate for a shorter version but it sounds a bit short with our surname.
Opinions please on our other options:

Zoe
Lara
Zara
Sophie
Claudia
Julia

I have a Lara Kate. I like Zoe as well.

Claudia is lovely.
Also like Lara, but prefer Laura.

To me Zoe is very dated. A bit like Samantha, Danielle and Leanne.

I like most of your names, but I'm not keen on Zara or Lara. Lara is short for Larissa in Russian and I much prefer that.

Zoe, Sophie or Kate.
