So names I love are Ben or Robbie but DP hates them. He loves Alfie but I hate it.

Other names I am thinking of suggesting are

Fraser
Alex
Ross
Euan
Tom
Sam

We are living in England if that makes a difference (but we are Scottish)

Anyone have any other ideas? We have such different tastes in starting to think this baby will remain nameless.

Douglas shortened to Dougie?

Whippetmamma · 24/01/2018 15:02

Your names are very similar to the list we had for a boy! Ended up choosing Sam when he came out 🙂

I really like Fraser and Ross,
Other names we liked were:
Harris,
Lewis
Rory (I liked the similar sounding Gaelic name, but DH didn’t)

Porgs · 24/01/2018 15:05

Love Rory too but DP does not!

Rory is nice.

Meemzinha · 24/01/2018 16:58

Sam!!!

It's my brothers name and he's such a gorgeous guy and it's such a soft album strong name! I used to wish I'd been named Samantha cause I love Sam so much.

Second fave is Alex but I prefer Xander... pronounced Zander like ale'xander'

Meemzinha · 24/01/2018 17:01

Also, Fraser reminds me of the show Fraiser so not keen.. and I literally know about 100 Toms. It's massively popular in the UK!!!

Haudyerwheesht · 24/01/2018 17:09

Ruari
Ross
Brodie
Gregor
Blair
Duncan
Alistair (I love this)
Stuart
Jamie
Lewis

Fraser! It's my choice if DC2 is a boy Grin

LarkDescending · 24/01/2018 20:13

Adam?

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 24/01/2018 20:16

Tom is lovely.

Nicholas/Nick/Nico?

Porgs · 24/01/2018 22:39

Dexter or Max are the only names we can both say we will consider. Thoughts?

Cameron. Can be shortened to Cammy.

CuppaTeaTime2 · 24/01/2018 23:08

Alfie- terrible, wet fish.
Ben- boring.
Robbie- quite nice, but would have to be Robert.
Fraser- like this.
Alex- like this, but would have to be Alexander.
Ross- like.
Euan- okay.
Tom- boring.
Sam- boring.

So my three favourite are Fraser, Alexander and Ross.

calzone · 24/01/2018 23:12

I have a Max and he has always loved his name. He’s nearly 16.

Short, strong, not too popular.

I love it.

LarkDescending · 25/01/2018 08:52

Max is lovely.

MikeUniformMike · 25/01/2018 18:51

I love Max but don't like Dexter. Will be shortened to Deck or Dex and it makes me think of Dex Dexter.

LOVE Fraser. A friends at DS nursery is called this and has made me realise what a fab name this is, def a contender if we have another boy.
