DH and I can't agree on name for our DD due in two weeks. Can anyone suggest any girls names of a similar vibe to the following:

Those names are nice, but flowery rather than 'strong' IMHO.

Andriana actually means "strong", and it sounds so alluringly feminine.

Also, Rosamund is a 'stronger' variant of Rosa (IMO).

Thank you for all the suggestions. Harriet Matilda seems the most popular, and since Matilda was the last name to be crossed off the first name shortlist DH and I both agree it is the best choice. Decision made!

Meredith - we have one and when we told my Dad her name he said 'ah she'll go far with a good strong name like that!'
