Your thoughts on my girls' names list please (and any other suggestions)

Alexandra
Jessica (probably won't use due to popularity)
Henrietta
Georgina
Lillian
Robyn
Lucinda
Lucille
Evelyn (like for middle rather than first name)

Any thoughts on this list? Which do you prefer, or dislike?

Any suggestions of similar names I might have missed? As you can see I like fairly traditional names. I ideally want to avoid top 20 names and also anything too short / cute (so have ruled out Isla, Ava, Eve, Eva, Evie, Lily, Mia etc)

I also quite like names like Aurelia and Cordelia, but not 100% sure as I find them quite 'frilly' .

If I had another girl I'd call her Constance or Charlene

teasysneezy · 04/01/2018 20:13

Lilla
Lila/Lyla
Livia
Hettie
Hatty
Elsie

TatianaLarina · 04/01/2018 20:30

Alexandra and Aurelia are by far the nicest. Don’t like any of the others.

Kitcat159 · 04/01/2018 20:42

I like Alexandra, Evelyn (ev-uh-lyn), and Henrietta
The name I have picked if my bump is a girl is Tabitha Alice. Always loved the name Tabitha. Will go with Tabi as NN.

Rainbowmother · 04/01/2018 20:43

Would you consider Lilia / lilya as a bit fresher compared to Lillian?

gingerclementine · 04/01/2018 20:46

I love Georgina, like Alexandra and Jessica and am less keen on the rest.

gingerclementine · 04/01/2018 20:48

I missed Robyn. That's also lovely.

How about
Vivienne/Vivianne
Meredith
Sylvia

EnriqueTheRingBearingLizard · 04/01/2018 20:55

I think all the names on your list and quite a lot of the suggestions, are very popular.

Personally I really like Cordelia and also Rosalind, although I think that's pretty popular too. I don't think either are 'frilly' names.

How about Beatrice or Helena?

What names are on DH's list?

HeteronormativeHaybales · 04/01/2018 21:03

Alexandra - love this, classy
Jessica (probably won't use due to popularity) - not hugely keen
Henrietta - ditto
Georgina - ditto
Lillian - I quite like this - it's very sweet and granny chic in a good way -, but don't you spell it with one L in the middle?
Robyn - not keen
Lucinda - quite like this
Lucille - could work really, really well
Evelyn (like for middle rather than first name) - this is getting very popular just now

How about Miranda, Natasha, Marianne, Mariella, Esther?
Others have made good suggestions too. Particularly liking Philippa, Natalia and Lydia.

Mooveover · 04/01/2018 21:18

Evelyn (Ev-uh-lyn) is a family name so I’d like it for the middle name regardless of popularity.

I love Lillian from your list. Don't modernise it.

You can borrow Felicity from me, if you like.

Yogagirl123 · 04/01/2018 21:23

Felicity or Verity, they are my favourite girls names. Congrats OP I love Evelyn too, nice choice.

TabbyCat864 · 04/01/2018 21:32

Love Alexandra and Robyn.

Hate Jessica. And I wouldn't use Henrietta. It's often used as a kind of stereotypically posh name in books and programmes.

Lucinda and Lucille are okay but I picture a woman in her 30s, not a baby.

Evelyn is nice for a middle name.

I like Evelyn and Cordelia.
How about Audrina?

C0untDucku1a · 04/01/2018 21:40

I like robyn and cordelia.
