I think it’s lovely. Pretty but unusual too. What would you have for a middle name?

mrspatel77 · 16/12/2017 20:33

I love it! Star

CharisMama · 16/12/2017 20:42

I love it!

happylantern · 16/12/2017 20:42

Love it Smile

CatInTheChristmasTree · 16/12/2017 20:43

Love it!

pipilangstrumpf · 16/12/2017 20:45

Paloma is beautiful and not overused!

TheDowagerCuntess · 16/12/2017 20:51

I'm just a bird in the sky is what I think of.
Lovely association.

And please don't listen to people saying it doesn't 'match' your other DC's name - what a daft reason to rule out a name you love. Confused

We have an Oliver and our DD1 is Faith :) (just thought of Paloma Faith when I read your post!)

BlazingPaddles · 16/12/2017 22:55

Very elegant. Very European. It reminds me of the uber glam Paloma Picasso

AlmostChristmas · 16/12/2017 23:09

Nice name but I'd probably only go for it if I had Spanish links

BestZebbie · 16/12/2017 23:11

Mr Cloppity in Boj pines after his ex-girlfriend, Paloma (it is possible that she vanished in a freak conjouring accident, though never confirmed).

ShiftyMcGifty · 16/12/2017 23:16

I think of the pretentious 1980s chunky jewellery sold by Tiffany’s only because talentless Paloma happened to have the surname of Picasso.

Postsynapticdensity · 16/12/2017 23:23

It's a very common Spanish name, it means pigeon. Makes me think of Paloma San Basilio, in a big hair, big shoulder pads kind of way. If you love it, go for it.

CharisMama · 17/12/2017 08:29

I prefer to see that paloma means dove and that the spanish dont diferentiate between a dove and a pigeon.

Harebellmeadow · 17/12/2017 11:52

Beautiful and elegant.
