I found all these in an online school magazine that's freely available on the internet with their printed class lists so I don't imagine there's an issue with selecting some to name here. If there is then please delete, of course (it's not a class list, I've chosen a few from a school list of what looks like 400 or so children)!

Best read alongside some of their truly incredible surnames along the lines of Duke-Hunterville and Hamilton-Waterford (not real, made those up) but still stand alone as quite wonderful. I don't even know which sex some of them are for so haven't divided them!:

When we were baby name shopping, we tried to pick names that would work whether our kids ended up as a High Court judge or working in Maccy D's. I guess that if you're called Santa or Rollo, your trust fund would render that consideration invalid....

Some of those are fairly common...

Monty, Rafe, Artie, Edgar, Maximus, Monty, Vaughan, Wilf, Rafferty aren't so unusual these days? Lochy sounds like a nickname for Lachlan (sp?)

Truthfully most posh people are called something different to the name on their birth certificate. James Blunt springs to mind.

Butterfly - I did say fabulous, unusual or super posh. I know they're not all unusual. I don't think of any of them as quite common though - not in my circles anyway!
I do teach in a ('reasonably posh-ish but clearly not in this league') private school and do teach/have taught children called Monty, Maximus and Rafferty. Don't think I've met many/any of the others in real life though.

Assassinated - I think I'd do similar splitting but might guess at Indigo being a boy's name and Tinks a girl (for Tinkerbelle maybe??)

Ivory, Clova, Lochy, Tinks, and Ozy would not be given the MN seal of approval if suggested by a plebeian parent. On a posh kid, I suspect people might be more forgiving...

Clova reminds me of that old Clover ad 'for we all love Clover...'

If you lived on a Council estate with some of these names it would be proof of how common you sre. Add money and suddenly the same name is proof of how classy

Wasn't sure about Indigo and Tinks, you may well be right with those. Lochy, Ozy and Tinks must be nicknames. Ivory and Clova are definitely odd ones out in that list, also Breezy!

In our small town we have a Rafferty, an Ozie, Wolfie and Indigo.

I like all the names - I don't think they're all posh or all unusual - just one or the other or else just generally fabulous.

Inigo is a boy's name. I only example of Inigo Jones, famous architect.

It was my parents' name of choice for a boy... but thankfully I was a girl and got given a totally bog standard name, one of the most commonly used of my birth year

There's Inigo and Indigo on that list. Inigo is obviously a boy's name. Indigo I'm really not sure about.

I like Indigo. I live in Wolverhampton so definitely couldn't get away with Wolfie hahahah

Id guess that some of these are from abroad. Santa and Capucine surely.

Magnus and Mungo are pretty common boys' names for posho Scots. St Mungo is patron saint of Glasgow. Could be just Archers fans of course!
