Girls name - not flower or ‘old lady’ - help!!!

We don’t know what we’re having, but have had a boys option chosen since I was pregnant with DD1 (called Jessica) and just can’t seem to find a girl option that we both like!

I’m not keen on flower names e.g. Rosie, Poppy, Daisy

DH doesn’t like what he calls ‘old lady’ names which have become fashionable over recent years e.g. Florence, Edith, Ava, Norah

Neither of us are keen on overly fancy names e.g. Clementine, Arabella, Cordelia

Types of names we like, but don’t think are ‘the one’ include:

Charlotte
Sophie/Sophia
Georgina
Lucy
Emma
Victoria
Elizabeth

Gemma, spelt properly with a G, from the Italian for precious stone.
Not too offensive when shortened.
Will take a DC anywhere in life.

Elizabeth is my favourite from your list. The Jessica I know has sisters Alison and Kathryn (Ali and Kate).

How about Emmeline, Elodie?

No one seems to like Catherine these days but I have always loved it. Timeless, classic and everyone knows it without it being common. Also, there are loads of abbreviations if you want to make it less formal.
