Trixie as nickname?

Knowledgeable people of MN, not sure this is the right place to ask but here it goes: does Trixie work as a nn for Patricia?

nooka, her first name is short and very limited in terms of nicknames, so I always thought of her middle name as a backup plan in case she needed it - if it makes sense. She can always go for something completely unrelated to either, I suppose.
