Ophelia or Romilly?

Hi,
I posted before about a girls name for this pregnancy. My little girl is called Ottilie and we like Gus (Magnus) is this one is a boy but were stuck for girls. We now (thanks to you) have names we like but sadly they are not the same name! My husband prefers Romilly and I prefer Ophelia, mn would be Blossom with either.
Any thoughts or experiences with these two??

We have a school called Romilly in our town so I prefer Ophelia

Aurelia is lovely.
I think Ophelia Blossom, sounds nicer than Romilly Blossom.
Octavia (Tavi), is a nice suggestion, above.
How about Oriana or Odette.

Both are overused

Romilly is usually the name given to about 40 girls each year. So I would say it’s probably not over used!

Ok, I'm saying this as it's the first thing i thought of, so others may, too. Ophelia Blossom sounds like, err, I'll feel yer bottom sorry OP. I like Romilly!

ladybirds that is so funny and I'm glad you pointed it out, might need a rethink on that one.

I'm quite taken with the suggestion of Aurelia. I suggested Octavia to DH but he responded 'like a skoda?' so I assume he's not so keen.

I love Ariella myself but DH not having any of it, he did nod in approval to Aurelia though. I also watched the love actually clip to double check pronunciation.

Why not Rosemary with Romy for short.

Aurelia is like oh really?
Ophelia will lead to ''were you conceived during the hurricane?'' chortle chortle remarks.

Thank you for your concern bottles and cans. I can assure you my husband and I are not trying to use our children's names to climb the social ladder. I have no interest in my perceived class nor that of others. I'm sure if I wanted to really wow the neighbours I could opt for getting a car I can't really afford on finance. For now I'll stick to finding a name I really love for my baby.

I'm not such a fan of Rosemary, silly really as we love the herb and like the nn Rosie. I think it's because it's two names in one......

Hmmm. Otillie and Romilly is a bit matchy matchy, although Romilly is a nice name.

Ophelia is pretty, but I just can't get past the Shakespeare character. Tragic, pathetic character. Cordelia?

I couldn't go for Ophelia - the reference to the Shakespearean character is too strong.

Ophelia definitely. Not a fan of Romilly at all, and it's ending is too similar to Ottilie anyway.

I'd say Romany would be much worse than either Romilly or Ophelia, How about Romelia?

Love Romilly and it goes very well with Ottilie. I like a good bit of alliteration.

Ophelia is great in Hamlet, in real life it makes me wince.

Also, Ophelia Blossom is very Violet Elizabeth.

Romilly is lovely and without the Shakespeare ending. I love the name Ophelia but the ending puts me off it the joys of an English literature degree

Orla sounds nice with Ottilie. Rosie is a nice alternative to Romilly.
