I'm 22 weeks pregnant my little girl and completely stuck I want a name that's not a everyday name so slightly unusual but not to strange I really like Ava-mae and Ivy-mae but none of them really stand out to me my partner likes Hiedi but I'm not so keen any names you all can think of??

Every single name in this thread is lovely, but please don't hyphen.

I agree with the posters who suggested Mae on its own. It's such a pretty, summery, underused name - I can't understand why there aren't more of them around! If I was pregnant with a girl it'd be on my list for sure.

Amy/Aimee Mae
Anna Mae
Holly Mae
Lucy Mae

Is Ivy that popular? I've never met one.

I think Heidi-Mae is really cute though. I love it.

Or how about:
Amy, Abbie, Ada, Bonnie, Betsy, Bronte, Connie, Cara, Clara, Casey, Callie, Darcey, Dana, Dixie, Daisy, Delphi, Elsa, Elsie, Esme, Effie, Freya, Flora, Gracie, Greta, Holly, Hanna, Hebe, Isla, Ida, Josie, Jodie, Jessa, Kayla, Kyla, Kyra, Katie, Kitty, Keltie, Kiki, Kelsey, Lyra, Lila, Lena, Lola, Lacey, Lexi, Lottie, Mika, Mala, Marnie, Millie, Molly, Mia, Maia, Nancy, Nyah, Nia, Orla, Poppy, Posy, Polly, Pippa, Ruby, Romy, Rosie, Rosa, Sara, Sophie, Sylvie, Tilly, Tara, Tessa, Tansy, Una, Vashti, Vera, Willa, Wendy, Xanthe, Zoe, Zara, Zia

How rude to describe the OP's grandmother's name as hideous Hmm

FizzyGreenWater · 29/10/2017 11:47

Keep Mae as the middle name! It might well end up just getting lost if your DD doesn't like having a hyphen name (they are a bit love/hate).

Heidi Mae is lovely.

Sophie Mae
Anna Mae
Rosamund Mae

Molly Mae

I wouldn’t hyphenate.

Mae as first name is lovely
Rosa Mae is lovely too
