International boys name

Dear all,

I´m soon to be a mum of four and I am still at a loss on what name to give to our fourth. Earlier it was easy: all my kids have international names (DH is Spanish) which were used along the centuries by kings and queens. Not that we are posh, but royalty names are often international and there is not much difficulty in spelling. For boys I have however run out of names. On my shortlist there is still:
Arthur - but very common in the country where we live now
Alexander - idem and common all around
Hugo - not really royalty and also quite common
Bruno - ´cutest´ one so far, but definitely not royalty so maybe a bit out of sync with the rest.
Does anyone have further suggestions? Will a Bruno feel out of place amongst the kings and queen? (lighthearted).

What are your other children called.
I don't want to make an repetitive suggestions.
Although from your list I love Alexander very strong yet at the same time gentle

Some of yours were on my list. I wanted an international name but not a really royal one. The only reason we didn't use Alexander was because of it's popularity.

Yes I like Bruno but not sure how it would sit with the others.

I met an 18 month old Victor the other day. His parents were of Russian and Greek Heritage. I thought it really suited him.

I just had a look at a list of current Spanish Royals, and Bruno is the King's cousin, so probably royal enough! I love the name.

I don´t want to out myself completely, but the other names fall into the category of elisabeth/helena/carolina/henry/sophia/maximilian etc. I seem to find far nicer names for girls than boys!
Victor is indeed nice, but already the name of one of grandparents. For the same reason John and Louis are also out. I liked felix, but in my workplace already three mums have named their baby this, so also not the most obvious choice.

I really like Hugo and I don't know any which is a bonus.

My other choices were Theodore, Sebastian, Gregory and Laurence.

Look at saints names maybe? I'm not religious but found I liked a lot of them. Orthodox in particular.

Bruno is great. Also agree with pp who suggested Frederick.

For me, Bruno and Hugo are not very international. Truly international names are pronounced more or less equally in the different countries, e.g. Mark, Alex, Max. My 2 DS's names are mentioned in this thread, though I sometimes need to explain to my compatriot why DS2 is called like that.
I like Bruno BTW, but associate that name with the German speaking countries.

David definitely works in all languages, maybe also something like Daniel, Leonardo, Theodor or Leopold?
