I watched Educating Greater Manchester and I thought the Tiger really suited his name!

What do you think of it? What about as a middle name?

No my kids thought it was hilarious

AuntLydia · 13/10/2017 12:40

I really don't like animal names like Bear and Tiger personally.

ImSoUnoriginal · 13/10/2017 12:48

Funny. I was discussing what an awful name it was!

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 13/10/2017 14:53

Its cute an an affectionate nn, but I'd never use it as given name. I'd fear that people wouldn't take him seriously. Yes I know we shouldn't judge people by their names, but this is the real world and people do

Dustbunny1900 · 13/10/2017 15:08

I think wolf (like wolf blitzer or short for Wolfgang ) is the furthest I'd go with animal names for boys..MAYBE bear.

For some reason I think female names can do animals better but maybe that's just my own gender prejudices.

Inneedofacookeddinner · 13/10/2017 16:47

I taught a Tiger once. He had long hair and freckles and wore a shell necklace. Not to my taste but it suited him. Didn't get anyone picking on him either...odd eye roll from teachers but kids are much nicer than adults about these things.

Kenworthington · 13/10/2017 16:48

I like tiger, bear and wolf. Many things I like are not to many people's tastes though 😂

PoppyPopcorn · 13/10/2017 16:49

I thought the Tiger really suited his name

In that he was a badly behaved, disruptive, disrespectful little oik? It's a bloody AWFUL name.

WomanEmpire · 13/10/2017 17:07

I didn't watch it, but I've known 2 Tiger's in my time.
I prefer it to Bear.

Wish the parents would just go for Tadgh though...

ReinettePompadour · 13/10/2017 17:11

I quite like Tyger Drew Honey. Its a bit hippy.

Glumglowworm · 13/10/2017 17:49

I really don't like it

AllTheWittyNamesAreGone · 13/10/2017 17:55

I know a grown up tiger (30+)
He hated it in his youth, he was a shy nerd and other kids took the piss. He called himself Tyler for many years.
He likes it now though.

Carouselfish · 13/10/2017 18:10

Yes, apart from the Tiger Woods link. It's fine.

TheVanguardSix · 13/10/2017 18:11

Stop it! These stupid names. Just name your kids something normal!!

LynetteScavo · 13/10/2017 18:12

I love it.

One of my DSs could pull it off, the other not so much.

DD so could!

I'm secretly hoping for grandchildren called Tiger and Elvis Grin

Marcipex · 13/10/2017 18:22

Never.

MollyHuaCha · 13/10/2017 18:26

No to this name. But you can certainly use it as a nn.

swimmingforsanity · 13/10/2017 18:28

Tadhg is much nicer 😀

eyebrowsonfleek · 13/10/2017 18:28

People will think Tiger Woods so no way...

Hellywelly10 · 13/10/2017 18:46

Horrible

ZuzuMyLittleGingersnap · 13/10/2017 19:30

Tiger as a NN; Hobbes on the birth certificate.
