I really like it Smile

Dawnedlightly · 30/09/2017 07:55

They're so similar, I think it's a bit of a waste Wink
Play about with other names you like and see which one goes better.

Elizabeth Hannah
Emma Claire
Emma Hannah two -a sounds
Elizabeth Sophia
Emma Sophia

Elizabeth has so many short forms, it's pretty perfect imo

kaytee87 · 30/09/2017 07:58

Should have said Elizabeth has to be the middle name Wink

Yika · 30/09/2017 07:59

They go perfectly together. Lovely.

klaw87 · 30/09/2017 07:59

I think it sounds lovely 😊

sashh · 30/09/2017 08:02

Sorry but I'm thinking of the phone company EE

nodogsinthebedroom · 30/09/2017 08:08

Just to confirm - would Elizabeth be a "standard" middle name, ie usually shed just be Emma?

If so, yes, that's lovely.

nodogsinthebedroom · 30/09/2017 08:08

She'd!

Zampa · 30/09/2017 08:10

Emma is an awesome name (biased) and actually not as popular as it used to be in the 80s.

rachrach2 · 30/09/2017 08:12

I think it's lovely!

liquidrevolution · 30/09/2017 08:23

I love it and makes a change from all the Emma Rose's there are (not bitter, i love roses so have no regrets!).

Of course there is a thread on mumsnet about how dull Emma is Hmm but i have not met another one my DDs age.

dementedpixie · 30/09/2017 08:27

That's my daughter's s name so i like it!

kaytee87 · 30/09/2017 08:34

Elizabeth would just be a standard name so not often (if ever) said together.

The person that made that thread probably likes yoonique names with made up spellings Wink

OP posts:
kaytee87 · 30/09/2017 08:34

Standard middle name that should say

MollyHuaCha · 30/09/2017 08:39

Nice

PinkFlamingo888 · 30/09/2017 09:23

I think it sounds nice but was at school with a girl called Emma Elizabeth and I hated her! Other than that though, lovely name.

timeistight · 30/09/2017 09:24

My great grandma, born 1871, was Emma Elizabeth. Yes, I like it. I'd use it now.

TheApprentice · 30/09/2017 09:28

I love it! Also, my sons first 2 initials are EE. Why on earth would that be an issue? Most people haven't even noticed!

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 30/09/2017 09:30

Gorgeous name OP ! 😄

CarrieBradshawsScrunchie · 30/09/2017 09:35

It’s lovely!

yawning801 · 30/09/2017 09:35

As long as your surname doesn't begin with a P, or a K, or an L! Nobody would want to have the initals EEP, EEK or EEL! Wink

Dixiestampsagain · 30/09/2017 10:01

I toyed with Emma Elise, which is very similar. It's lovely!

EekThreek · 30/09/2017 10:07

It's my cousins name Smile

She's made it to adulthood unscathed Wink

Go for it, it's lovely!

Sophronia · 30/09/2017 16:43

It’s lovely, very classic.

ifcatscouldtalk · 30/09/2017 16:55

Imo Emma is a lovely name. It's not used very much nowadays, I know 1 13 yr old Emma. My daughter is 13 and when she was born I went with a name that was popular in what was probably an Emma popular era. You'll get people that like classic names say it's lovely and people that like to try and be different say it's a bit boring. I think Emma Elizabeth is gorgeous.
