Dd was going to be Ivy Rose then I changed it to just Ivy with Rose as a middle name now I'm changing my mind again... possibly.

Need a name with the same sort of sound as Ivy if I'm to convince DH as he as taken to the nickname Vee and says it all the time.

I like Evie.... any other suggestions?

I know a little girl called Avie which is quite nice. Pronounced like Ava except an EE sound at the the end instead of an uh sound if that makes sense?!

High five isabelle!

Vida or Vita

Aibhin is beautiful (and it means "radiant"). Aibhin is the Irish spelling, but it's said "AY-veen" or "EE-veen" and some people spell it phoenetically (i.e. Eveen). Not sure where you are and if this would work, or if she would just have to spell it her whole life and you're not keen on that! Also my (female) cousin's name is Avaree which is nice too.

WLMcI · 24/09/2017 20:42

Ah, just saw you have a shortlist already, sorry! :)

Mamabear4180 · 24/09/2017 20:50

My name is Genevieve and my siblings call me Vieve-vee. I called my DD Eve and Evie is her nn. Tbh Eve on its own it's really underated. It's classic, gorgeous and cute for a toddler but serious too for an adult. It's perfect IMO! Makes it hard choosing sibling names once you find the 'one' though! I had a tough time with her sister and now i need to find another name ahhh! Eve is the best name in the world Grin

I think every other girl is Eve Eva Evie - not heard of an Ivy recently!

Idratherhaveacupoftea · 25/09/2017 09:05

Ivy is awful, old ladies name.

GwendolynMary · 25/09/2017 09:11

Aviva or Sylvia would be great with Vee as a nn

NinonDeLenclos · 26/09/2017 11:54

Aviva sounds like insurance. Viva is nice though.

FacelikeaBagofHammers · 26/09/2017 11:56

Sive (rhymes with five)
